Children find ways to re-use old tyres.

Broomhouse Primary School pupils have been given the task of thinking up new ways of re-using old tyres that are no longer road worthy.
The clever students came up with a fantastic idea of using them as soles of trainers, which is handy and efficient.
The competition was set up by Bridgestone tyre manufacturer and McConechy’s tyredealership.
Donald Carmichael, managing director of McConechy’s, said: “This competition is a great way to get the children to think about greener and safer motoring.”
