Hamilton realisation for 2nd stop.

If any one wasn’t watching the Grand Prix in Australia on Sunday then you missed the terrible time for Lewis Hamilton as his hopes of reaching 2nd place were dashed. Whilst near the end of the race, Hamilton was asked via radio to pull in for a 2nd pitstop, being in 3rd place he was confused as to why he was asked to pull in, but it was due to the racing cars tyres.
“The team has explained to me their reasoning behind the second pit stop and I can understand what they were trying to do in trying to cover both Mark Webber and Nico Rosberg for later in the race,” Hamilton explains.
“We are still learning about this year’s
tyres and the degradation, and perhaps we overestimated the wear that the frontrunners were expecting to suffer.”
And if that wasn’t bad enough Hamilton also got his back end caught by Webber and they both spun off but managing to drive back off again and Hamilton’s final place was 6
