Alonso opinion on tyres

Sebastian Vettel and Fernando Alonso have very different views on the new Pirelli tyres that are being used on the track for the Formula 1 championships this year.
“The race track will have so many rubber marbles, that the rear-wing trick won’t help when overtaking because you have to brake much earlier offline,” said the German.
Meanwhile, Alonso has said that he thinks that tyres will be the biggest factor to overtaking. The spanish racer is confident the difference between new tyres and used tyres will see a time difference of up to six seconds.
“Nothing else will contribute more to overtaking,” the Ferrari driver toldDiario Sport. “When you put on new tyres you can be up to six seconds faster than the ones who have not yet changed.”
