Emergency service workers have joined the tyre safety month awareness campaign hoping to make people more aware of how dangerous defected tyres can be.
They are hoping that by explaining situations that they have seen should show people and help them understand that more and more crashes are happening because people are not checking their tyres regularly.
Clyde Evans, senior road safety officer with Hampshire fire service, said: “We’re all responsible for making sure the cars we drive and travel in are safe – but how many of us actually do it?
“If you’d seen what I’ve seen, it gives you a different perspective on driving and road safety.
